How to update a preprint with link and information about published version
If you are an author of a preprint that has been published by a journal, you can now update publication information and link the preprint to the Version of Record (VOR).
For example, if your preprint is: 10.22541/au.164882013.31335659/v1
And it has been published in the Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology with DOI: 10.1111/jce.15485
Go to your preprint, and find Edit Publication Information from the dropdown menu:
In the popup that opens, insert the DOI 10.1111/jce.15485 and click Save:
The peer review timeline will be updated accordingly:
The linking of a preprint to its published version is done automatically by Authorea, but you can use this feature in case the linking takes more than 2 weeks from publication date
If you are a collection editor, you have access to an enhanced dashboard that allows you to link to the Version of Record, alter a peer review timeline, and edit the preprint disclaimer.
