A digital object identifier (DOI) is automatically generated by Authorea once 'Create' is selected. Upon generation of the DOI, article metadata is deposited with Crossref. Because this process is automated, errors are rare, however, in rare cases, registration can fail. If DOI registration fails for your article, please email help@authorea.com.
